Hoodie 01 / design review / 5 Aug 2026
The mark
A cross on a black hoodie has to survive being 2.5 inches tall on somebody's chest in a parking lot. That rules out patterns, rules out outlines, and rules out anything that needs a second look to resolve. What is left is the silhouette, so the silhouette has to be worth keeping.
Five marks
Same weight, same cream and teal, same 2.5 inch height. The only variable is the shape of the arms.
The one you picked out. Strongest silhouette of the five, and the one most likely to read as a gym brand before it reads as faith.
Keeps the tension in the arms without the barbell read. Still has a shape at 40 feet. This is the one I would print.
RecommendedSafest and quietest. Nothing to object to, nothing to remember either. Good fallback, weak flagship.
Uses both card colors. Costs a second screen, and the split can look like a printing mistake at small size.
Carries Brooklyn's feather over from the card. Busiest of the five, and the barbs are the first thing to clog at 2.5 inches.
The build
A big front graphic dates fast and locks the blank to one design. A chest mark plus a back lockup lets the same garment carry a new back every drop.
It prints at 5 inches, so on the garment it sits just under the collar seam and reads as a label, not a graphic. Shown here enlarged because you cannot judge letterspacing at actual scale on a photo.

For we live by faith, not by sight.2 Corinthians 5:7
The verse stays on the card and in the marketing. On the garment it is just the reference. People who know it already know it, and people who do not will look it up, which is a better outcome than reading it off somebody's back.
Two calls for you and Brooklyn
Every faith brand has a cross. Almost none have a feather, and the feather is already Brooklyn's handwriting on the card. If the name is going to change later, the feather is the asset worth protecting, not the name.
The name is on the back print, so a change later means a new back screen and nothing else. The chest cross survives a rename untouched. That is a good reason to keep the front mark generic and the name on the back where it is cheap to redo.
